Historian Systems
Calgary OSIsoft PI Experts and Calgary OSIsoft AF Experts. Historian systems are data archiving systems designed to collect, store, and retrieve time-based information at high speeds. Time-series data is stored in a historian, meaning that the data is represented by a series of events constituting values over time. Historian systems are common in process industries such as oil and gas, utilities and power, renewables, water and wastewater, and food and beverage. Data is often collected from control systems or SCADA systems such as Honeywell Experion or Emerson DeltaV, using industrial protocols like OPC or Modbus.
Below you will find a listing of some common historian systems that we have worked with, and you will learn how we can help you with your historian initiatives and challenges. Don't worry if your favourite system is not on here - we can still help.
